Default 2017 Fluke Regs

Hey Folks,

I've looked around, but I cant seem to find the official 2017 fluke regulations. I've seen reference made to 3 fish @ 19", but nothing official. Am I missing something

Also would like to know the season Start /End dates.

Thanks,
Joe

There is nothing official yet.

Likely it's going to be 3 @ 19 season starting May 17.

Joe,
did you really think those do-nothing blowhards in Albany would put something out early ?

They won't put anything out until the day before and it will most likely be 3 @ 19, just like NJ.

Right now NJ is at 4 @ 18 inches, or something like that, whatever last years regs were. They haven't put out any 2017 regs and so last year's are still in effect. I wonder of they will ever put out any revised NJ 2017 regs.

Default NJ Fluke Update

The New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council met on 4/13. The NJMFC took no further action on the fluke regulations as they await the ruling on our State’s appeal to the ASMFC. Therefore, as of now our regulations will remain exactly the same as they were in 2016. The season will begin on 5/21 and end on 9/25 with a 5 fish bag limit at 18”. This regulation is subject to change depending on the ruling of our appeal
