Default PHEASANTS

THESE ARE FARM RAISED BIRDS JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE STATE WHICH STOCKS ALL THE GAMELANDS THROUGHOUT NY. THESE BIRDS ARE WILD THE MINUTE THEY ARE RELEASED! THEY ARE HARD FLYERS MAKING FOR CHALLENGING SHOTS. MANY GET AWAY IF YOUR NOT UP TO SPEED ON YOUR WING SHOOTING. CALL OR PM ME FOR MORE INFO.

GOOD HUNTING!

Must be a special breed 'cause I've never seen a farm raised bird that flew like a wild bird the minute it was released.

MIKE THE BIRDS RUN WILD WHEN RELEASED THATS WHY I LIKE TO HUNT 3 DOGS TO CORNER THEM TO PUT THEM UP. WHEN THEY DO FLUSH THEY TAKE OFF LIKE ROCKETS!

Ive seen both sides of this. I had one hen I actually bumped with the gun barrel to get to fly this year. But ive also had others that didnt let me with in 80yds with-out running or busting. Generally speaking it seems alot of these birls hold tight till your up on them, but you really never know just when let your gaurd down youll be handed a difficult ****.

I have a question. I've never hunted farm raised birds.

If they are farm raised have they ever flown before being released?
