Default 6/26/16 Report

Better fishing this week with both numbers and quality. 20 keepers hit the deck on the first trip of the week with Matt Stanton landing the pool fluke of 6 lbs along with 3 other keepers. Good action continued Wednesday morning with a keeper per person and lots of action. Kevin Power from Levittown was best with a 4.5 lb flattie. The afternoon pool winner was Katie Mahoney from Montauk with a 4 lber. Sarurday morning also saw an average of a keeper per person topped off by a nice 7 lb fluke for Christian Deger. In the afternoon Vinnie Venezia scored with a 6 lb pool winner and a 5 lb back up. A small group on Sunday morning found some nice fluke waiting. Joe S. from New York City scored the 6.5lb pool fluke which beat out 4 other fluke over 5 lbs. Great action on the afternoon trip with lots ,of 5 lb plus fluke. 30 keepers hit the deck topped off by a 6.2 lber for Vincent Bocchino from Mahopac, NY. Looks like the bite is on!

On Tuesday morning a 7.5 lb flattie for Mark Mouton was best out of 18 keepers with plenty between 4 and 6 lbs. In the afternoon another 7.25 lb fluke was tops among another good trip for Ken Layer from Riverhead. Lots of sea bass too. Wed morning action continued strong with Tim Olsens 5.5 lb fluke taking pool honors an in the after noon 25 sea bass and 2 dozen keeper fluke. Monroe Block from East Hampton was best. On Thurday morning a load ,of nice keeper sea bass and 18 keeper fluke. Norman and Donna from the Bronx said whenever they get in the pool they dont catch well, so they didn't and Norman landed the biggest fluke of the trip of 7 lbs followed by Donna;s 5 lber! Eugene Prohaske wound up with the pool. In the afternoon Shane Stanton was best with a 5.5 lber with a little slower action. Moderate action Friday morning with Matt Stanton tops with a 5.5 lb flattie. Sat mornings pool fish belonged to Robert Held from Warwick, NY a 5.4 lb fluke and in the afternoon it was Joe Jasinski from East Hampton with a 5 lb pool fish along with 3 other keeper to 4.5 lbs for Joe. Another beauty 7.5 lb fluke was best for Steve from East Hamptonon Sunday morning followed up by a 5.5 for Tim McCoy from Pelham Manor.. The weather and fishing are good so come join us!

Default 7/6/16 report

Sundays afternoon trip saw the good fishing continue with bent rods the whole trip. A 7.5 lb doormat was tops for Christine Scarangella from Massapequa and second was Sally Wiegand with a fat 5 lber. Regular Joe Jasinski had 4 keepers and their was lots of keeper sea bass! Monday morning a 5.5 for Marcini and a 5 lber for George Lestrange from Plainview. Our next outing on Tuesday afternoon saw sea bass take center stage. The Bocchino brothers teamed up for a dozen keeper sea bass (ROL) and 3 keeper fluke. Anthony, Ava and Tyler Incorvaia had 8 sea bass and a few fluke with Anthony's 4.7 fluke the pool fish. Great fishing on Wednesday morning with 2 dozen keeper fluke and a load of nice sea bass topped off by Tony Bavaro's 6.7 lb flattie. Sea bass shined on the afternoon trip with a boat limit of sea bass and fluke to 5.2 lbs for Vinnie Rivera from Holbrook.

A little slower action on Thursday morning when John Godwin had the pool fluke, and in the afternoon Jennifer Hirsch from Rockville Center had a nice 7.75 pool fluke along with a 5.3! Nick Bocchino was next with a 5 lber. SUPER fishing on Friday morning with almost 40 keeper fluke and some nice sea bass. Michael Messina's 6.8 fluke was best. Young Dylan Denicker and buddy Brendan Kenny from Whitestone both caught a fluke limit showing the adults how its done! Bad conditions in the afternoon. Saturday morning brought good action again with our first double digit fluke, a 10.5 lb beauty for Jorge Amato from NYC! Nancy Buscaino from Brooklyn had 2 beauties of her own, a 6.5 and a 5.5!

Another GREAT day of fishing on the EBB TIDE on Monday! Two dozen keeper flatties and some nice sea bass in the morning. A slammer 9.5 lb doormat took pool honors for Rob Demeri from Wantaugh and second was Kerry O'Sullivan's 7.5 lber! Kerry also had a 6.5 lb fluke. In the afternoon another 20 keepers with Ann Stavris catching her limit including the 7.5 lb pool fluke. Husband Michael had 3 keepers.

Another great day on Tuesday with 24 keeper fluke in the morning. A 7.3 fluke for Bill Kulier from Youngsville N.C. took the first place pool and Mike Stavris was second with a 6.5 lb flattie. Six fluke topped 5 lbs. The afternoon was just as good with another 20 keeper fluke. Liz Ford had 4 keepers herself including a 4, 5.5 and 7.5 lb pool winner!

Default 7/15/16 report

Constant action on Wednesday morning with 30 keeper fluke and a couple dozen sea bass. Kathy Hull from Kileen Texas had the 4.5 lb pool fish. Janine Murphy had 3 keeper fluke and 5 sea bass (olr). The intense action continued in the afternoon with 38 keeper fluke with Ann Stavris taking the pool with a 5 lb flattie and John second with a 4.5. Rain and wind kept us dockside Thursday morning but the afternoon made up for it with fish on every drift. Paul Bocchino had a limit of sea bass and the 5.6 lb pool fluke. Ann and Mike Stavros both had a limit of sea bass. Another 20 keeper fluke on Friday afternoon mixed with sea bass. John Bocchino taking the 4.5 lb pool fluke.

Default 7/16/16 MORNING REPORT!

A SUPER TRIP on Saturday morning with 36 keeper fluke, a bunch of nice sea bass and porgies too! Sal Aloia from Harrison NY had 3 keeper fluke including the 7.25 lb pool winner and sea bass. Bill Olsen had a limit of fluke and the second biggest flattie of 6.3 lbs. Joe Guidice was close behind with a 5.5 lber. There were keeper fluke on every drift and Paul B had a 4 lb porgy!
