Friday morning brought steady action the whole trip with 18 keeper fluke, four dozen nice sea bass and some porgies. Billy Breier from Babylon had the 4.4 lb pool fluke. Good fishing in the afternoon with about the same mix of fish topped off by a 8.5 lb doormat for local Jane B! Saturday morning the first few drifts were a little slow but as conditions improved the fish tuned on. 20 keeper flatties plus a mess of sea bass. Matt Stanton from New Jersey was best with his 5.6 fluke. More of the same for the afternoon with 2 dozen keeper fluke and some sea bass and porgy. Frank Leitz from Glen Rock, NJ took the pool with a 5.5 lber. The action continued on Sunday morning with 18 keeper fluke, a bunch of sea bass and porgy. 12 year old Vincent Demaria was the pool winner with a 5 lb fluke. A small group in the afternoon had a tougher time but still managed enough fluke and sea bass to make everyone happy.

Thursday saw decent fishing with fluke and sea bass on both trips. The morning pool winner was Phil Savader from St. Lucie, Fla. with a 4.8 fluke and in the afternoon it was "2 fish on a hook" Jimmy Mattutat from Huntington with a 3.8. No trip Friday with heavy winds. Still a little windy on Saturday morning but found enough sea bass for everyone to go home with some fillets. Much better in the afternoon with most catching their limit of sea bass! Frank DeMayo kept his limit from a dozen keepers. Tim McKnight landed the 6.8 lb pool fluke and son Cole bested a 10 lb bluefish.
