Default 2017 Trout Season

I figured I would start this thread for trout fisherman to post reports and pictures for the 2017 season. I plan to fish the Delaware this weekend and will report when I return. Would like to hear if anyone else has made it out and if they had success. I know many if not most of the local rivers and ponds on long island are in the process of being stocked or are already stocked. No need to give locations away, but what you caught them on and time of day would be great, and even better to see some holdovers or searun.
To get this started will post a few nice fish I caught over the past few weeks (most people will recognize where they came from and I am not attempting to hide it - if you know the spot go get em' but please do not post the location on the board - make people explore different locations).
Learned something new this season (see picture below with frozen net): when fishing in subzero temps need to keep fish in the water or they will freeze (makes sense but never thought about it). One of the fish below was caught on a below frozen day and she had a hard time although it sat in the current for 10 minutes before she disappeared wonder if she made it (regret taking the picture). Except for the brown (caught on powerbait) the rest were on flies (various - wooly bugger, and small nymphs).
Tight lines.

Default Nice 20 inch brown trout caught upstate

So I was itching to shake off winter doldrums. Went to a pet reservoir and nailed this gorgeous 2o inch brown trout around 5pm on Sunday afternoon. After 3 spirited runs and 2 jumps, it slid into my net. The hand scale built into my net read just a tad over 3pounds. Nice way to start my 2017 trout season. Now it's time for me to get to my pet streams and track down some fine rainbows.
